I am trying to manage my contacts. I notice that some entries have what seems to be an icon of an SD card next to them. I can not edit these??? What are these?

It sounds like you're on a carrier that uses sim cards. The icon shows contacts on the sim card.

I would recommend that you leave them on the Sim card, in case you need to use your sim in another phone, you will still have contacts. But so that you don't see them twice in your address book on your Treo, go to your contacts app, and select menu/options. Uncheck "Show SIM phonebook" and none of the Sim numbers will appear.

You're great! That did it. Thanks out to all of you.
