My boss uses a Treo 650 with ActiveSyn and Versamail 3.5 so he can sync his contacts and calendar from our Exchange Server. He uses a laptop to sync everything else but has the options for mail, contacts and calendar all set to "do nothing". Everything has been working fine for him for quite some time although in the past few weeks his contacts database seems to be getting corrupted. At seemingly random times his contacts application (whatever the default app on the 650 is, I don't use the phone myself) displays zero contacts and doesn't seem to have any information in it. After a soft reset, the contacts are there again.

He says that whenever he makes a phone call now his database is missing again so the problem seems to be getting worse. The Versamail/ActiveSync program is still getting mail and calendar entries just fine and does appear to be synchronizing the contacts correctly, minus this missing data issue. There aren't any duplicates being created and the database is obviously not permanently gone as a soft reset (without having to resync) fixes the problem, at least temporarily.

Any 650 users out there know what's going on? As I mentioned, I'm not the one using the phone and don't really have ready access to it.
