    Question Contacts trouble...

I have been having problems with my contacts that I can't delete any of them. Some of them won't even have the edit screen come up. Yesterday half of my contacts were missing and I had to reboot to get them back.

Still it won't let me delete any of them. Some of them act like deleted but they are still there. Also, when I sync with the computer, half of the them do not show up on the computer.

Also, my phone freezes at least once a week and all I can do is take the battery out to reset it. Does this happen to anyone else? Is it normal? Is there another way to get it unfrozen?

    Thanks, I appreciate any help!

Are you using any 3rd party software to manage your contacts like Agendus, Beyond contacts, etc? This is not normal Treo behaviour. List the apps that you have installed on your Treo and maybe we can pinpoint it.

I am not using any 3rd party software for my contacts and here is the software I do have on my treo...

    Adobe Reader
    E-reader
    Bejeweled
    SolFree
    Real Player
    Treo Alarm

no suspicious apps there... the problem that u're having is indeed quite unique. i've been on treo boards for quite some time, i may not be the most knowledgable guy out there but i sure haven't seen anything like this.

it's too much to worry abt though... i think a hard reset should solve your problem. there are very slim chances that it won't do the job, but just in case it does't, try a zero-out reset... it usually creases out all quirky behaviour.

more info on how to do the above can be found at: http://mytreo.net/treofaq/Treo650Resetting

do remember to backup your data before u do a hard or zero-out reset.. i.e do a complete hotsync.

    hope it helps...
