 |  Corrupt preferences - any hope? It appears the prefs on my Treo 650 are hosed. It started when the sound settings were lost (systems sounds wouldn't stay quiet), but now the Treo stays on until I turn it off. Experience tells em this is going to get worse before it gets better. Using a tool like Files, can I delete the corrupt prefs file and do a reboot, or must I kill everything and start fresh? If the former, which file should I delete? If the latter, at least I have the weekend... :rolleyes: Any other ideas? thanks, Larry |

   | If it were me, I believe I would hard reset and start fresh . . . . I wouldn't know where to start with prefs deletes . . . To me, the HR would be the quickest way back to functioning . .. . . . Lets us know how it turns out . . .

| Might sound like a silly question... ...but do you use RealPlayer? I only ask because I used mine yesterday trying to duplicate another poster's problems and it screwed my preferences up too.
