    Default could not find a palm desktop data file.

    While attempting to sync my memos, I get a lovley message from my Hotsync:

    "Could not find a palm desktop data file. After closing this message box you will need to open the palm desktop application and then close it again before re-running the synchronization."

    Of course, I've opened/closed the Palm Desktop, but get the same !


    Has anyone seen, or heard of this error?

    Are you using Intellisync or some other 3rd party conduit? Did you reinstall or update Palm Desktop? Is Palm Desktop installed to a different location than it used to be?
