Default CSD (auto) disconnect

just new to this machine (please excuse if stupid)

once i have finished using eg auto back up, the Treo appears to remain connected to the CSD system. the only way i have found to disconnect is to go thru' Prefs/Communication/Network/Disconnect.

is there a quicker or automatic or hack method?

thanks

I do not know a way to exit faster than that....Most apps that connect to the internet have a disconnect in the menu tab....

If you are like me i have an unlimited data package and do not worry about staying connected. Doesn't cost anything to be connected just if data is transfered.....

What is the reason you need to disconnect?

Default unlimited data package...

laughs. i'm SO unlike you in many ways!! i DON'T have an unlimited data package (costs a fair whack in the uk) AND i suspect it uses battery power?? other than that i don't know. what do others suggest?

glad i'm not as stupid on this thread and not missing something obvious. interestingly the apps disconnect didn't work to remove the icon. how, other than this would i know if i'm still connected?

LOL! I am not sure what to tell you....I do not know of an app to disconnect but there are apps that can be programmed to do a series of commands....

Maybe one of those you could set a hard press or Option+(key) to go to network and disconnect. Let me get a name of an app for you so its a little more help...LO!
