Default Custom Startup

Is there any way to make a custom startup screen for when the phone (radio) turns on. I know there are some that you can download but I was wondering if anyone knew how to create your own.

Thanks

This is a system-level hack, which of course means there's more to it than hot syncing a jpeg to your Treo. If you're feeling particularly bold, you can download a Shadowmite's splashscreen patch and play with the code. There is no doubt a way to substitute your own 320 x 320 pixel image for his. Caution: I have no experience with hacking & patching a Treo, and the descriptions of the splashscreen patches mention "all options enabled" which means there's potential to mess up the function of your Treo. You'll void the warrantee as well.

I guess it all comes down to how badly you want it.

Any time. If you're successful in modding Shadowmite's splashes, post your success.

Cheers!
