DATA Plan Q?

I have had my Treo for about 6months now and love it. Besides paying $60 for my service plan I also pay $40 for a Data plan. This is with Cellone. They said because my phone is a Treo that I would need the smartphone plan that doesent come with text messaging which would be an additional $15 (unlimited) and 25cents for each multimedia message I send. So at the end of the month I am paying about 120-125 for my phone.

**My question is that they also provide what is called "Signalink Package" that has unlimited Text, Media massages and unlimited data useage all for $25. They say this is for cellphones with "WAP" browsers or something like that? Anyways Why wouldn't this work with my Treo? I asked them and all they would say is "because I have a TREO it requires the smartphone package". isn't data useage the same if I was to use a Motorola then a Treo?

wow with Sprint four phones unlimited data, and 500 text messages one phone unlimited I pay around (with tax) $132.00.

I don't see why you need a special package. I have two razers, a samsung and my treo on my family plan.
