Dates expanded when synced with Outlook

Hello,
I'm trying to help my boss out with a problem.

When syncing his treo & outlook, some (not all) of the dates on outlook become expanded. For example, a previously scheduled date for Saturday, Sept. 8th will suddenly become a 2 day event on Friday & Saturday. I believe that most of them seem to be re-occuring events, such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Any suggestions...advice?

Hi:

Is it possible the time zone assigned to the recurring event may have changed to one before yours? The other question is if the Treo and the desktop computer he syncs with are on the same timezone? I know it's a stretch, but that is all I got.

I would be real curious to know if you do find out what this is from.

That was the first thing I checked...only because it was the only thing I could think of. I was sure that was the problem, but apparently I was wrong.

I keep looking into it when I have time, hoping to stumble across the problem, no luck so far.
