I am asking this because i am not using the webfunction either the mail, so i disabled the icons already and now i want to put new functions into the fixed favorite buttons, but this is not functionising like with the free programable buttons. Thanks for the fast respond ! But that what you explain me is the easy standard programming what is not right for the 5 Fixed applications i asked for, this favorites you can only change the quick key function but not the name or the category ! So i think i am again on the beginning of my question !

I even have tryed to delete the file "PhoneFavorites2DB" after that it takes all my own programmed buttons out and start's with the 5 fixed ones (so i think that must be already on the right way, but more i don't now, so when i look again with an explorer under the phone systems the the file is back only the smaller ! So from somewhere this file must be created automaticly !?

I believe that you cannot delete the factory favorites. I believe you can move them to another page though like the last one so you won't have to see them.

Not sure what you want with the five way button.

Hello! The problem with the 5way button is that when you are in the phonemode and you axidantly move it down or up the favoritscreen pops up and the you will have the 5 fixed systemfavorites on the first lines left and right ! When it will give atleast an possibillity to move them from the first rowpoint to the last one will help me already when it will be not else possible to delet or change them! But can someone explain me jhow this will done, because when it is not belived that it can be changed how it will be then possible to move them !?

I went back and looked and I do not see where to move a favorite button after all. I thought someone here had moved it or maybe used a 3rd party app to arrange them. Sorry for the incorrect info.

Hi again flashmind:

I am not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do, but hey, that never stopped me before!!!!

If you are talking about the "Favorite Buttons" that appear at the bottom of the "Phone Pad", these can be moved around and you can actually have four blanks under the Phone Pad if you choose.

While on the Phone Pad screen press your Menu Key and select "Edit Favorites Pages". From the next screen you can tap and drag the preset buttons to wherever you wish, on the current page or you can drop it onto any of the pages listed at the bottom right. Note that any of the presets I don't think thise titles can be edited, but you can certainly bury them on page 4 or 5. You can also obviously create your own buttons and keep in mind you can also assign "Quick Key" shortcuts to frequently called numbers/people.

Is that what you are looking to do? I do hope this helps you out.

Regards,
SteveTaz

Tap and drag, I never would have guessed that. I was looking for a pull down menu with a cut, paste option. Good Stuff Steve

Hello! And thanks for know for the interesting Info! You are right SteveTaz it is possible (what i was not knowing) to at least drag the fixed preset buttons for example to page 5 just by holding them with the pen and dragging them to the favorit number page, so at least i have moved the preset buttons to an not so oftenly used area, it is a pitty that it is not possible to delete or change the preset buttons like you can do with the other ones but at least this is an resolution for me! And i will offcorse not give up perhaps i will find a way or an program what can change the preset fixed buttons when it will exist somewhere even when it is not an freeware program (perhaps it will be an idear for a software developer to make a small routine to get it changed) !

Thanks again

I found this in another thread. Not sure what you can program on the five way but this seems to work for some.

try button ex. v1.17 it can allow you to set "up" on the 5 way to open this app.

here is a link:http://www.treoquestions.org/questio...?do=file&id=70

or

Hope that helps?
