Deleting old profile and creating new profile

Hi,

I got a new treo 650 from my friend....When I tried to sync, it created an account with his name. [I guess he already have an account with his name on the treo] My questions are:

1] How can i delete the profile of my friend on treo and on my laptop....

2] How do i create my new profile.... [because whenever i try to regsiter a new app, I need to do a hotsync and it will try to register on his account name...]
