Documents To Go - Reboot

Hoping someone can help me with this one...

Very simply, everytime I try to open a "Word" document in Documents To Go, the Treo650 completely reboots. "Excel" and "PowerPoint" documents open just fine.

I THINK the problem happened after I upgraded the OS to 1.13a, but I'm not entirely sure about that.

I am running Ver 7.005 (923) for Documents To Go. Do I uninstall it from the Palm and reinstall it? Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Thanks Miller, this worked great.

I didn't realize there was a newer version of Docs To Go, and installed that as well. Upgraded to version 7.006 (945), but that still didn't solve the problem for me.

Solution #1 in your link fixed it for me, although it somehow wiped all the documents I had stored (didn't know if that was by design), but it was no big deal re-adding them.

Thanks for the link millerhifi. That helps some. I have had DTG crash after I install a profile application. Both times I had to uninstall the profile and then uninstall and reinstall DTG. I tried the freeware Profiles. After that crashed DTG, I tried the evaluation version of Treo Central, same result. I was wondering if anybody else has had similar problems. DTG is a must on my Treo so anything that breaks it has to go. By the way I was using DTG version 7.04, just went to 7.05 but haven’t made the leap to 8 yet.
