If you've never been able to open anything with DTG, I'd suggest uninstalling it from the Treo and the desktop and reinstalling from the CD, then performing a sync.

my exerience is that a particular file gets corrupted. if you can (filez) delete the appropriate file but usually the simplest is the uninstall/reinstall approach

I'm with ffolliet! I once was experiencing problems with DTG and sure enough, I had a corrupted word file! Deleteing it solved the problem . .

Sorry for the delayed response. If this is still a problem there was an update that had to be done for DTG. I had the same problem until I performed the update.
Check the DataViz site and I am pretty sure you will find an update that will resolve this pesky problem.

Problem still exists
I used ti be able to open files. Now I cannot.
I deleted all of the files and then beamed one over from a friend's Treo. Same result.
I went to Dataviz and downloaded the latest version. Still reboots every time I try to open a file.
Next step is to un-install the program and reinstall. I have Filez. Do I just pick the files (DocsToGo and DocsToGoDB) and delte them? The DocsToGo file has a "lock" symbol next to it. Can it still be deleted?

I found the answer
I visited www.dataviz.com and went to the support tab. It has a section dealing with this problem.
They had me install DataViz Tech Tool. It allowed me to delete preferences and to delete temp database. Once I did this it worked.
It also gives two other solution if this does not correct the problem.
