Does any one have an old update file for treo 650

I updated my Treo 650 for Verizon with 1.05 and it got stuck at the E911 update. After a hard rest the PDA came back but the phone won't turn on and keeps rebooting. Does any one have a 1.03 or 1.04 file by any chance. Palm does not keep archives and they won't help.
I do NOT recommend any one to update to 1.05 unless your phone is dead already.

New treo 650 owner who tried to update to 1.05 from 1.03 for VZW and got a wrong version message, and now whenever I try to to turn the phone on, it just resets and the phone stays off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would contact verizon and try to get them to help The palm site does not appear to have access to older verizon updates. Have you checked the verixon web site. I can't help as I am with cingular and what youre dealing with is the rom not a program in ram. Good luck!

Also you ought to look at the other threads here in th ET 650 forum recently about the 105 updater. they may be of assistance

JFA112851, has it right. Look for a thread posted early today warning about version updater and see if that helps. I would like to know if the power is connected can you reinstall the new version and get it working.

Pretty cr-ppy when you try and stay current with your software and it crashes your unit.

No kidding especially if VZ's position is using the update whcih one would think they approved cuases the problem and they say it isnt our fault and oh by the way you instal it and no more warranty. Hooey!!

Actually when my attempted upgrade crashed my Treo 650 Sunday the Verizon Tech Support person was totally aware of the fact that the crash happened during the upgrade. He then had me go through the steps again to try it while he walked me through and when the same problem occurred, he authorized a replacement unit under warranty. (I was right at the one-year mark)

I specifically asked him to have it sent Fed Ex and request that it NOT require a signature upon delivery, but low and behold I came home to find the Fed Ex label on my door saying they couldn't leave the package without a signature. Hubby is on his way now to the Fed Ex annex to pick it up.... it's been a LOOOONG two days without my phone!

well at least you still got it today if he made it there before they closed but after the driver got back in. Its possible they told fedex you requested to leave with signature and fedex just did not follow not very likely though.
