    Default Dowloading Apps from Web

    Aloha,

Can anybody tell me if I can download an app like an e-mail app directly to my smartphone from the web and launch and install that way, or do I have to download to my PC and install using hotsync?

I am fairly new to the smartphone scene and hace not figured out the tricks yet.

    Thank you in advance

Yes, as long as it's a .prc, you can download and install it. Once you tap on the link, you'll be prompted to accept it into Applications.

I think a better, safer download is to your pc, then sync. You will also have your download on your pc to keep.

Let us throw in another thing. If you download it to the card, it will probably end up in \palm\Blazer\Download. Love these incidental things.

I am new to this site. I was on mytreo and got feed up with all the smart remarks that the users would send me when I ask question. It was like nobody wanted to help me with my issues. But I have been looking around on this site and have read alot of post. The ones you reply to are genius. :laugh3:

The Waianae coast, the far western end of Oahu, about a mile from the ocean. Traffic stinks, the sights are great.

Thanks, I try to save the smart-assed replies for the people that have attitudes and can't be bothered to use the Search button. Welcome to ET!
