Music or Audio Drawing and Text Problems

    Hello everyone,

My co worker has a Treo 650, and I am trying to figure some stuff out for her. When she is drawing in the media section of the treo it will just shoot color across the screen. Now we both have admitted that the Treo was not invented to be used for graphic design, but she is a graphic design major and if the program is on the Treo then it should work. When things are saved and brought back up they come up in different colors. Werid

Second. On the old treo 600 whenever a text came it would not show the beginnings of the message, they were hidden. Now when you go to the text messages area of the Treo they show, and she would like them not to show for privacy reasons.

If anyone can help us with these problems it would be greatly appreciated.
This is a cingular phone, and it is the third one she has traded in for the screen problems.

    Thanks everyone!

    Hi Daniel-
Is she using a graffiti program? I assume you are referring to drawing on the actual screen.

Open up Messaging, Select Menu Button > Options > Preferences. Check Privacy Mode (hide text).

She is drawing in the media program. She has to take a picture, then color over the picture in a solid color, and then draw on the picture. So i don't know if that is the graffiti program, but this is a brand new phone with no programs added on yet. Her friend is able to just open media and just draw, is there a seperate application?

She already has tried to be in privacy mode for the text to be hidden and it stills shows up. Does she need to check it and restart the computer?

Thank you for replying and for all your help.
People like you make my life a little less stressed out.

    Thanks again

Wow, I never knew I could do that! I just went to the "multimedia" section and selected the "pics and videos" I picked a picture, hit the menu button on the treo and "wa-la" I could draw, erase, change color palets... Kewl! but, unlike you apparently, everything I saved and came back to was not "altered" all the colors I had change were as I had changed them. Sounds like bad software in your case, but I DO think you for showing me yet something else this superphone can do!!

    Many thanks Dude!
