Duplicate Calendar Entries
Hello,
I've been working on one of our users phones, she uses a Treo 650 and has been having issues whenever she synchs her phone. I think I got this issue taken care of (fingers crossed) I went into the custom on the hotsynch icon and then went into settings where her phone was set to duplicate any conflicting appointments. I changed this to Outlook wins.
She is now getting an error saying that it Can not read one instance of this reoccurring appointment. Close any open appointment and try again. We do not have any appointments open, any ideas how to get this message to stop reappearing? Also did I take the right approach to stop the duplications?

You might do a search her for the info you need because I do not have the file name. You can delete the data base for appointments then sync to your pc and see if the problem comes back.
There is a program that I believe is dbfixit that might fix the file that is causing the problem. Filez is a free app that will let you move and delete files on your treo and card.

I'm sorry I feel like a blonde, but I'm not positive what your telling me to do. Where do I get the dbfixit program? Or the filez even? And once I got it how would I know which file is corupt?

Both programs are available on the internet to download to your pc or maybe directly with your phone. Filez is free and dbfixit may be free as well... Filez will let you view files on the treo and your card.
A search here on everything treo or maybe someone will jump in with the file you need to delete. Actually it is a database of your appointments, once you delete it you can sync with your pc (set for pc to overwrite handheld) and the sync will restore the files and hopefully your error will be gone.
