email question

I have a yahoo bizmail pop3 account and I cannot receive my emails I can send them out just fine I just cannot receive them. I use my email for business and I cannot afford to lose or miss mail any help would be extreamly helpful....thanx in advance

Ok, we take it you are paying the $20 or so per year for POP access. That means the SMTP setting is incorrect - the setting is smtp.mail.yahoo.com and of course make sure you enter the correct user name and password.

my setting says smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com because it is a business account does that matter it says use that on yahoo

Ok I fixed the problem thanx a million but it will not send my messages to my phone I have to preform a manual "get" to receive my messages. I set it up but It continues to say operation failed??

???? versamail won't auto check or your yahoo does not auto send? This sounds like a yahoo problem if it won't send to you.

PS A couple of posters have fixed their e-mail problems by deleting their account and resetting it up.

http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/bizmail/pop/pop-04.html is the link for Bizmail's setup. I just tried it with ChatterEmail and it works fine. I have no experience with Versamail on this issue. Ben

It sounds like versamail is still not working prroperly and still needs to be worked on.
