Default Email questions

Hopefully I can explain my question correctly - not much of a techy and unfortunately our IS department does not support the Treo 650 (which I found out after the fact).

I set up my Treo to check my work email (we use Outlook). The email goes through the SprintPCS site, then to my Treo. I think I use VersaMail.

I typically receive large documents at work that won't go through to my Treo. I understand why I don't get the large document on the Treo and I am okay with this. However, the SprintPCS site sends a bounceback to the sender saying email wasn't delivered. Is there a way to shut off this bounceback? I am getting the email at work just not on the Treo (which again, is okay). Unfortunately, people don't read the email address and just assume they can't send the file at all.

Lastly, is it typical for the Treo to take so long to delete messages out of the Treo? It can sometimes take 15 minutes. Just now, I deleted 72 messages and it took 5 minutes. And at that, it only deleted half of them (even though I had selected all to delete). Is there any way to fix this?

You might have some corrupt e-mails if they will not delete. Though usually if they are corupt they will cause a reset. Deleting should not take that long. Maybe a soft reset?

You can increase your delivery file size so you get most of your e-mails.
Versamail, menu, options, preferences, Delivery, increase the file size to what you want. I checked mine an it somehow was set to 5 kb which basically won't let me receive anything.

You might contact Sprint if they can disable the notification back to sender.
