I believe that when you have the contact/favorite button highlighted (the one you want to delete)you can push menu, edit button then delete from that menu.

I've got 6 favourite buttons on page number one of the phone app that I believe were inherited from back when the phone had Cingular ROM. I've sinced reverted the ROM to unbranded (1.13-ROW) but can't find any way to delete theses buttons or use them for something else.
Some do nothing and others are just redundant or unecessary.
The buttons are: Bill Balance (does nothing), Quick Tour (how many times do I need a quick tour??), Messaging (I've got a dedicated hardware button for this!!), Dir Assist (does nothing), Check Min (Does nothing), Voice Dial (does nothing).
How do I erase these or edit them or do something to them?

...i think i would've caught that!!
Unlike the other buttons which I can edit and delete (button on bottom next to ok and cancel) these all I can do is move around on the page. Not delete.
open the favorite pages
select "edit favorite pages" from the record menu
select the button you want to delete
hit delete
please give me some credit here... lol... I've managed to edit and delete every other single one I want except the ones I mention. They do not, i repeat, DO NOT have the delete option. Where all the other buttons have the OK, then the CANCEL and then DELETE... the ones I'm having difficulty, do not.

We just checked our phones and have that option. At least my sprint phone does. You might check the palm site under support. You did not mention your phone carrier but some support the treo and others let palm handle it.
actually i did mention it... it was a cingular phone in which i have installed the Palm non-branded ROM 1.13-ROW. Palm site is of no help... they, like others here who are trying to help, assume I have a delete button next to the ok and cancel. Frustrating...![]()
