I apologize if I offended anyone as that is never my intention. I will make an honest attempt to not make my posting an "ad" for my blog. I thought it was much simpler to just direct someone to something I've already written than to write it all out again.

And to verify, I NOW do own a Treo. Originally when I first joined ET, I didn't own one but was planning to. Now, I do own a Treo 650 and thus, the pic of it in my avatar.

As for essential apps, I find that BackupMan, Datebk5, FileZ, CardExport2, RepliGo, TCPMP, Docs To Go, Aeroplayer, Switch5, Energy Dimmer, PowerRun and now with the Treo 650, Graffiti Anywhere is essential to have if I want to input via G2 on the screen.

Well, my vote is Chatteremail, but Snapper is very popular! Both offer trials, so I would suggest you try them both and see which one you like! Agendus also does email and is popular. I don't believe Adendus or snapper is supported like Chatter is. Chatter currently allows you to store all your email on your Card. Higher end versions of snapper allow you to also. I am told Agendus doesn't currently offer it. Besides the fact that Chatter is a great POP email program, it also supports "push" email through an imap account. You can easily set one up through chatter and try it free for 6 months! Your email address will be @emailtreo.com. After that its about $20 a year. I have currently set up two of my personal accounts for IMAP instead of POP3 and I must say, I am amazed! Sending an email results in it showing up on my server, two computers and my treo all at about the same time, and thats under a minute! Chatter also offers a summary page. So if you have several accounts set up through it, all accounts will display on this one page. In different colors! You can also set different ring tones and vibrations for mail, so you will know which account just received mail without even looking! If your doing POP only, you can set it to get mail as often as you like, or not at all, and manually tell it to get. It also allows you to put an account to sleep for any amount of time you specify. As I said, try them all out, but if there is one app on my Treo that shines, its chatter!

One more thing: Last week I recieved 4 emails from the developer of Chatter! All 4 emails were upgrades that he had made! You can also update directly through your data connection! He is working on some pretty neat things in future upgrades! And all upgrades are Free!!! Its the best money I have spent on Treo Applications so far!

I hope I didn't come across too harshly. I did read through your blog, and you have a wealth of information there. Congrats on the Treo. How do you like your magnesium case?

Two things that sold me on Snapper are the interface, and bundled software. The interface offers a "finger mode" which is very handy for navigation without having to use the stylus or 5-way. Also, the Premier and Enterprise editions of Snapper come bundled with Diddlebug, HandzipperLite, and SplashPhoto. HandzipperLite is great for working with zipped e-mail attachment, and SplashPhoto is an excellent image viewer.
Push e-mail isn't critical to me. If that's what you need, then you'd want to go with Chatter. Aside from that difference, both apps are very full-featured. I haven't tried Agendus, so I can't comment on it.

OK, my apps are listed in my Signature. I have a few other games on it but I am not much of a gamer so this is the sort of app that comes and goes on my Treo. In addition to ereader, I have the bible on my card made by a company called Cosmi. I am currently looking for a replacement for it. I know there are better options out there and will replace that one soon. I launch about all of my applications from my card with zlauncher. Showing 10.0 megs free . . .

It looks like eReader.com has a few different Bible versions available, along with several Bible-related reference books. My next eReader conquest will be Moby Dick (from the free section). See you in about a month...

    Default Movies Shows?

So I am wondering. What movies/tv shows do you have on Treo? I noticed TCPMP listed in most people's applications, so I am figuring you are at least watching something!

A few weeks ago, I had the Son of the Beach Television series on my mine. But about a week ago, I put most of the "Family Guy, Season two" on my Card. Have only watched one episode so far. So far I don't rip down movies, but go for the TV series instead. It seems I am more successful in watching my TREOVision in 20 minute increments!!!
