Excel for Documents to go is locked

I am trying to load a Loan Amortization Excel document to my document to go on my palm. When i do, a message comes up when i try to modify the file that says its locked and does not support the formula's in this document. Does anyone know how to get around this or where a Loan Amortization file is that i can use on my phone.
p.s. a loan amortization sheet helps you figure our mortgage payments by entering interest amounts, loan amounts, and term so that you can figure out your payment amounts.

Welcome to ET.

It sounds like the problems are in the spreadsheet, not the Treo. Have you checked the worksheet's properties? Menu> Format> Sheet and see if "Protected" is checked. If it is, try unchecking it.

However, I am not sure about the formulas not being supported. This is an original spreadsheet that you currently use on a PC? It opens and you can edit, update, etc. when open on your PC? What version of Excel was it authored on and has it been used with newer versions and saved in the newer versions?

You might try looking at and adjusting the settings and protections while on your PC to be sure you aren't trying to work with a disabled spreadsheet on the Treo.

Hi, the problem is in Excel To Go,

but , you have to modify a little bit of your Original Excel file.
let say, the last column in your original is 'Column H', if you want to work with this 'Column H' on Excel To Go, you have to add some dummy value (can be text or number) on 'Column I'.

it seem there is a bug, that last column in Excel To Go always protected.
