    Default Extending Auto-Off Time

I'm sorry if this is in another post...I'm sure it is...but I couldn't find it with a search... I'm looking for a program that will allow me to keep my Treo on for longer. I have it set for 3 mins...but it seems to only stay on for 1 min at the MOST. Is there a way to have it set for 5 mins or even always on? Thanks!

Do a search for a free app called "Always On." It works great.

AlwaysOn. There's also AutoOffExtender which allows you to "extend" the normal default turn off time to something else. I use both.

I tried the AutoOffExtender, but hated the beep and the program seemed buggy, so I tried to uninstall it, using DestallerPro and when that was unsuccessful (first time ever), with FileZ. Neither of these is able to remove this program. FileZ gives me the error message:
Error: dm: Database Protected in Item::remove() d

Anybody have any idea how I can get rid of this short of a hard reset?

Solved it. "Auto-extend" checkbox needs to be unchecked. That freaked me out! Fortunately, no big deal ...

I found a product named "Auto-Off." It allows me to either extend the time that I want the Treo to be left on (there are three settings that are USER defined) and a button for always on. So...I have it set for 30 secs, 120 secs, and 150 secs. You can set those for whatever you want and set it by hitting the "set" button next to it. It also has an always on button under those for that function. Seems to work pretty well! You can find the program here: AutoOffDAs - PalmGear.com: Download Palm Software for your Treo 650/600, Tungsten, LifeDrive or other Palm OS Device
