Extra Digits
On a Verizon Treo 650, is it possible to enter anything other than digits as Extra Digits on a Favorites speed dial button? To enter more than one string of digits? My Verizon voice mail requires a password ending in the pound symbol. To retreive voice mail from my office I have to enter three strings of numbers. On my last Verizon phone (Kyocera) a % symbol acted as a pause, and you could enter the pound symbol. Can't seem to do this on the 650. Any suggestions?

You should be able to enter the # symbol no problem.
If you highlight the speed dial entry> menu>edit favorite button>more enter your string of extra digits along with the # symbol

Thanks. Now I just need to figure out how to put in a pause. Not sure this is possible. In my last Verizon phone when you dialed, it sent the numbers up to the next % symbol, if any. Hitting the button again gave you the next set, up to the next % symbol, and so forth.
Thanks for your help.

each comma is a 1-second pause. use them back to back to back... That's what I did & now I have no issues getting into my work Vmail.
It would have been nice for the T650 to have the ability of adding either a 2-second pause and/or hard pause key...
I'm not weird... I'm gifted!!!

Thanks for the replies re: the comma; I should have remembered that a comma is often a pause. I take it there is no hard pause, i.e. a pause which waits for some input before proceeding? My Kyocera had one. Depending on how busy our vm is at work, the delay until you are asked for a password varies.

pause dialing
I tried the comma, with no luck. I want to have a pause the give voice mail a chance to connect and then my password entered.
I did somthing like this
7145559898,,#1234#
The number connects but the password is never dialed. Any ideas?

Thanks
