    Question factory password

    Hi everyone !
I just bought on eBay an unlocked GSM Treo 650 that was previously CINGULAR. When I want to do my first Hotsync, the Mac palm Desktop asks me for the user Password. I have the user name but not the password. The ex-user says it was the factory password ans he did not change it but he does not remember it.
Anyone remebers the factory password or can tell me where I can get it ?
I do not feel like doing a hard reset after I entered ALL my contacts, etc...
    Thanks

There's another thread on this here. A Treo shouldn't have a "factory password." I think you might end up having to do a hard reset.

You might buy backup buddy and back everything to your card then you won't lose your info.

I have backup buddy and it was around $15.00. If you don't have a card you might as well get one because you will want and need one.

Probably a hard lesson about getting a used treo. Maybe the mods could post a sticky with a need to do with a used phone before it is loaded up with stuff.
