 |  Formatting SD Card I've recently gotten a 4GB card for my 650, and I'm just wondering if there are any good guides out there as to how to format it to utilize the entire space, as the way the phone formatted it for me only gives me 1.7GB of space. Thanks for any help! |

| Hi chaos: If you have a 650 I am afraid you have overbought. The 650 can only use up to a 2gb card and I believe that is why you only see the 1.7 (usable). Only the newest Treo models can use a 4 gigger... You may be able to find a ROM hack that might allow use of the larger capacity, but done wrong you could wind up with a very expensive paperweight. | Please excuse my Noobness  but Im new to the Treo, and have a memory card in route, (bought from here) but once i get get it, how easy is it to Format it ? is there a write up somewhere ? will the phone walk me through the process. We got a 1GB card, how much space will i have once formatted ? Thankx for any help. |
