From Visor to Palm 650 - desktop compatibility?

I'm not proficient with this technology. I've been using a Palm Visor, and have synced it regularly to my PC with the appropriate version of Palm Desktop.

I've obtained a Palm Treo 650 to replace the Visor, and have installed the appropriate version of Palm Desktop for it on the PC.

How can I import to the Palm Treo 650 the information from Palm Desktop for the Visor? If anyone can outline the steps for me, it would be a great help. Thanks!

Hi:

If you installed an updated version of the desktop all of your data should have been merged into the new version.

Take a look here for guidance on upgrading and you should find everything you need. If you run into trouble then post here for specific guidance.

One caution....DO NOT try to install any of your old Visor programs onto the Treo. You will only cause problems. The older programs are not written for the newer hardware and OS.
