    Default gmail gets mail or does it?

    So I have successfully set up the Gmail accounts, thanks to advice from this site.... and it worked for a few days. but now it says it is conecting to server.. checking for new messages, getting messages 1 of 1...and then closes. the % number never increases, and I have no message....what is the deal? Seems there is always something with thing

    I've had this happen once or twice. Just use Gmail's web interface to disable POP access, then reenable it. You should get your messages after that.
