Gmail, Snappermail, Ugh

Hi there,
I'm new and searching for some help with using Snappermail on my 650 to POP gmail.
When I send email from my browser, this sent mail downloads in the Inbox of Snapper. I have searched the forums and other sites and really cannot get a clue to effectively fix the problem. I've attempted to change the POP settings on gmail but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I've deleted and reinstalled Snapper. And I've searched for ways to change this on the phone.
Anyone got an idea of how I can change this setting? I don't want to throw Treo across the room but I'm getting frustrated reading my own sent emails.
