I'd really love to dump the phone+PDA for one device that does both.
|
That's a good choice. Once you have a Treo, it's impossible to go back to carrying both (and no need). No only are you able to integrate your organizer/contacts into your phone, but there are so many uses for the Treo.

GPS. Call me a geek, but I'm a GPS addict. Does anyone here use it regularly on the Treo?
|
I'd suggest you check out the
TomTom Navigator 5. It's fantastic. Here's my
review of the TomTom and also a
thread of other users discussing their experience with it. Palm has also released a
lower priced GPS bundle that includes a vehicle mount, but includes the TomTom Software as well.

BT Headsets. There are so darn many - how to choose? I'm thinking about the Sony Ericsson HBH-608 or the Motorola HS850. Talk time is really the most important feature for me (I think! Please fill me in on anything else I should look for).

I have used the Sony headsets and they are quite good. Feedback on the HS850 has been less than spectacular. It is a Motorola product and they are known for quality -- I just question if it's the ideal headset for Treo users.

Web surfing. I saw a wifi adapter in the store. Is there a huge advantage to having this?
|
The Enfora Wifi sled is the only option to add Wifi access to your Treo. If you need WiFi and don't mind the bulk, this looks to be your answer. It is an expensive option.

Is anyone using 3rd-party grafitti software?
|
Palm recommends
MobileWrite. I haven't personally used it, but others have had good results.

I think that's a good start.
