Goodlink hijacks contact list?

I recently got a Treo 650 through Verizon and installed Goodlink to connect to my work email/calender/etc...

Since installing Goodlink, it has basically hijacked the contact list functionality of the device and I'm finding this somewhat maddening!!!

I had entered all of my contacts into the standard Treo contact list application. Now, whenever I get a call from any of those people, the number comes up as unknown, rather than displaying the contact info. It asks if I want to add this number to my contacts, and if I say yes, it somehow redirects through a Goodlink page and ends up doing nothing.

The only way I can even GET to my old contact list is through the home/applications menu. The contacts button on my phone-menu (when you hit the green phone button) now takes me to the goodlink contacts. I can't seem to tell this to link to my old contact list.

Arghh!!! Has anyone else become frustrated by the same thing? How have you dealt with it?

I had the same problem. A Goodlink rep instructed me to go to the applications page and from the menu, select "Delete". Then, select "Contacts" from the list, and hit "Delete".

This some how breaks a link and allows the contacts on your SIM card to be your primary contact list. Whatever it does, it worked for me.

WARNING: save your contact list to a memory card. The rep said that sometimes this deletes your contact list, which did not happen to me. Either way, he said this works.

So I have the Treo 750 w/ windows mobile OS. Can anyone help me fix this contacts issue with windows? I'm so annoyed that i can't use the "phone contacts." Thanks!
