ok i just tried a recurring event. i sync'd twice just to see and it just added the event a second time. so if it's a recurring event it will add a new entry every time you sync i'm guessing. i read that it's a bug they're working on. i'm sure this is definately a program to keep an eye on.

Not sure if you saw the edit to my 2nd post, but
Some info I found, which also led me to more questions. Do you have to use outlook along with google calendar to sync it to your treo?
Ive also found rumors of google coming out with their own mobile version of the calendar. But personally If im going to be using a PDA I wouldnt want a mobile version i like the companion link. I would just hate to have to use outlook along with it.
Truoc you are my savior.

i don't know about savior. i've only been using a treo since last thursday. i'm just a computer nerd i guess. i'm actually using palm desktop to sync my treo. i'm anti microsoft and if our database wasn't windows only at work i'd be running linux on everything. i'm a huge follower and advocate of open source so no i don't use outlook.

Okay, so against my own better judgment, I was too excited and decided to try it out. I downloaded and installed, and tried to sync Outlook to the Google Calendar. Companion Link crashed while uploading my calendar events. Outlook then locked up with a message I'd never seen before - something about another program crashing while accessing the Outlook Data, and I couldn't use Outlook again until the other program stopped. I finally had to restart my desktop. I tried it again, same result. I am going to assume it's because I have too many calendar entries, which the web site says they're working on.
This looks like a terrific idea. I hope they get it up to speed - I'll definitely use it if they can get it working with a large number of calendar entries.
Cheers!

Enjoy the good life, MS free. I would be if work didn't demand it.
Christ is my Savior - but you're pretty cool in my book, truoc! Thanks...

Wow I love this place. A place where a nerd like me can be cool just for being a googler.
i'll keep you posted how this experiment of mine goes. i actually got a weekly recurring event that didn't duplicate just the yearly one.

Do you have any screen shots of this dealy?

i don't there's really not much to look at though. basically it's a mediator between palm desktop and google calendar. click it, it pops up a window that says synchronizing then it's done and all the info between the palm desktop and google calendar are sync'd

i've decided that this will be an awesome program in the future, but i can't duplicate everything every time i sync. interestingly though it only duplicates the ones entered directly into google calendar. the ones i entered into palm desktop and sync'd the other way didn't duplicate, so anything my wife types in is duplicated. too annoying for now.
