I don't think you'll be able to check your Google Calendar from a mobile browser yet (I just tried to check it with Blazer and it displayed a message about incompatibility with the browser); plus, if you have a Treo, you'll want to use the native function and sync it to Outlook or Palm Desktop. It will be much more functional for you.

I suspect at some point in the future Google will make its Calendar accessible on a mobile platform like they did with GMail, but I haven't seen any news of that yet. Also, to my knowledge no one has succesfully synced the Google Calendar with a Treo (or any other mobile device).

i just used companion link and sync'd my google calendar with my palm desktop then sync'd my palm desktop with my treo and it worked great. that software has a 15 day free trial then it's like $30, but it's the only thing remotely close i could find so far. if anyone else finds anything before my 15 day trial is up let me know.

That's cool - thanks for passing that along. Do you know if it will work with Outlook too? Please let us know how it works for you after you've used it for awhile.

it's supposed to work with outlook too. when you install it has two programs, setup and syncronize. run setup and it asks you what you want to sync it with and what your google calendar account info are. then you run synchronize and it sync's it up.

Do you have a large amount of calendar entries? The page says that more than 300 may cause issues. Also, how did it handle repeating events for you? I have a great many of those in my calendar. This looks really interesting...

i didn't have that many entries still. i just got married and started using google calendar so my wife and i can keep updated on events and not forget stuff and because it will send us both an e-mail every morning that tells the days events. i just checked and it doesn't look like anything is set up as recurring yet. it's still a pretty new project. i'm going to play with it a lot over the next 15 days before i pay for it, but it seems to be just what i was looking for.

    Congratulations on your marriage!

That's exactly what I need this for - so my wife can see my calendar. I'm happy with Outlook, but this could be really useful. I think I'll wait for a month or so and hopefully some of those bugs will be worked out, as suggested on their website. Thanks again!

Congrats! Thats the same reason i use Google Calendar (but for my gf, no wifey) Please keep me up to date on what goes on, But this will make me the happiest kid in the world. I want to be to use google calendar so family and friends can see it, but Want the treo so i can see what i have day to day and add stuff on the go.

Thank you so much, I am so close to getting a 650 i just need you to do some more testing to let me know how it goes

Some info I found, which also led me to more questions. Do you have to use outlook along with google calendar to sync it to your treo?

Ive also found rumors of google coming out with their own mobile version of the calendar. But personally If im going to be using a PDA I wouldnt want a mobile version i like the companion link. I would just hate to have to use outlook along with it.
    Truco you are my savior.
