I bought a GPS receiver/software kit for my Tungsten C several years ago, and still use it in a pinch. But if you are planning to really use your GPS, I'd recommend getting a unit that will do it better.
Since then I purchased a car with the GPS factory option and I like it much better. I still pack my tungsten when I travel (not often). If I really needed a portable GPS system, I'd get one of the
Garmin portables.
Depending on your budget, some of the Garmin's are really cool. They have an FM transmitter that does the turn-by-turn through your FM radio. They also have bluetooth and a microphone, so they can be used as a hands-free kit for your bluetooth phone.
