GPS for 650

I own a 600 and want to upgrade to 650....I would like to know if anyone uses a GPS for other than TomTom on the road solution? I want to use the Treo for outdoor GPS wayfinding and location. Any suggestions?

I've used it for walking around Manhattan, but mostly while driving. It performs the same either way. It's a solid product.

I use my 650, Mapopolis and a seidio 2100m car mount and love the combination. Is it as easy as a stand alone car unit? No. Is it anywhere near as expensive? NO!

How do you use the device as a gps

You need software and a GPS receiver. In the case of the Tom Tom Navigator 5 - it comes as a bundle. The only additional thing you need is an SD card to load the maps.
