GPS Navigation on Treo 650

Hi,
Does anybody know if the GPS system is useful within the United States.
I assume it shud be so, but was just wondering if we go out of country then will that feature be of any use?
Any feedbacks would be appreciated.

Theoretically, as long as you have the maps for the area that you're in, the GPS technology should work. So for instance, as long as the GPS works while you're in, say, California with navigation software and the map for California, then when you go to say England and use it, it should work as long as you also have a map for England. Anyone else have different input?

And based on the many reviews here, it seems that yes, it is a useful feature to have.
