Default Group Sms Software Available ?

Hi i saw a program called 3JAM which allows users to group sms or send multiple sms's. Has anyone used this to give me some feedback. Also can it send a standard message to many nos in increments. Such as bulk sms ? I mean can we send a text to a series of 100 nos or so by sending in increments of 1 to the first no given ?

If this software cant do this is there any other appliaction out there which can ?

A free solution is Group Text Messaging from Palm. Take a look at http://www.everythingtreo.com/option...95/Itemid,432/, the second entry.

Hi, i tried out the software you have suggested. But it wont suffice for my needs. I need something that will automatically send the same text message to consecutive nos ? Means u enter 98646-0000 and tell it to send 100 messages and it increments the mobile no by 1 and keeps sending till it reaches 100. I think you assumed i had a ready database of nos. No i dont. I need something that will send bulk sms to say 100 or 1000 nos consecutively by adding 1 to the base no given. This is used by many people to send marketing messages etc.

Spam Text ??? LOL. Before you throw an accusation, learn to look outside the box. Its perfectly legal in my country to do sms advertising. So as long as im doing whats legal in my country you dont need to jump to conclusions and give us a sermon here unless you know for sure that someones doing something wrong. "Unwilling recipients tracks you down ??". In my country its so easy to track down. It comes just like any normal sms. Whats there to track down. The recipient can just call you immediately because the senders no is always displayed. Blood banks use them. Etc etc. Govt organisations use them. Its sold as a software which you load on your pc and hook up with a cable to your mobile and it sends out the sms to everyone. Large cinemas multiplexs send you stuff on new movies etc etc. But if the message is even slightly illegal then within minutes the cyber crime wing of the police dept starts working on it and action is taken. We want to use it for event marketing. We are perfectly on the right side of the law. So kindly dont jump to conclusions.

You own a tv in your home isnt it. But just because you own it, you dont dictate what ads are shown on it ??

To any others who know of any sofware even commercial i would like to buy it because the pc versions have one big problem. They are licenced to only one machine. If your machine crashed or something. The software wont install on any other system.

I agree with the Ffolliet - spam is exactly what this is. Spam to me is something received that I did not ask to receive, whether it is legal or not. Spam is spam.

. I really dont know. This could turn out to be a never ending debate. But im going to let it rest. To each his own opinion. I have for once never recieved usefull stuff in spam on email. But on my phone i have recieved some really good info and thats helped me a lot. I can still remember one of our video editing service guys whom we now regularly use came into contact to us thru an advt sms. Its ironic to say theres commercial/freeware that can do this but you wont tell me because you think its spam. What good will it do to stop it at my level. You should try and convince people to stop creating such software. Anyway even this is just my side / opinion. Im not wanting to argue about this since i think or assume this is a forum of people who are trying to be helpful and friendly here.

Hey, Anyone can do whatever with their own phone. Just like anyone can select what threads to respond to or to start. I think you have the same internet that most here do so a little research will probably give you your answer.

I think the guys were honest and up front that they do not agree with what you are trying to do and chose not to help. You do not agree with them from your point of view.

So good luck on getting a solution to your situation.
