Default The best blue tooth device

the Sprint store near me said their Plantronics have been coming back...not sure why they were being returned...the local Treo mall kiosk sells the Jabra and a customer at the kiosk had a very compact Body Glove...the question is which one provides the best clarity and reception, etc....I'm surprised no one has an opinion...are there frequency specs, etc available for the bluetooth units? I just purchased my 650 so it's not up and running yet and don't have a blue tooth device yet, so any input would be appreicated.

Default

I've read lots of reviews and done some research. There is a Sony headset that seems to work ok. The Zen headset works well but is pretty spendy ($200). I have personally used the Jabra bt250 and it was horrible. You would have to be within a foot of the phone to hear clearly and it was very delayed when aswering. I've heard the moto's suck and most of the others you get at local stores.

I'm now using the Cardo Scala 500 which works really well. It picks up immediatly and the hearing quality is excellent. I can be around 25 ft. away from the phone before it starts crackling. You can pick them up for around $42 at onsale.com with $15 shipping and be using it the next day. Very good earpiece.

Hope it helps!

Default BlueTrek G2

I use the Bluetrek G2 and it works very good. The sound quality is very good and its a very light headset. You can wear it for long periods of time and forget that its there. you can go to their website www.bluetrek.com and check them out. It cost 54.99. The battery is also one of the tops in the market right now with 9 hours of talk time and a standby time of 400 hours. The exact weight is 12 grams.
