help (phone keeps turning off and on)

well as anticipated, my treo does not work ONCE AGAIN...now i have figured out why it doesnt work but no one at verizon knows what to do about it...after the zero-out reset, my phone is able to pick up a signal from verizon..however, i dont want internet access (dont wanna pay $45 extra per month), so i had them put a block on it...once they put the block on, the phone no longer can pick up a signal...i know several others who have their internet blocked and they havent experienced any problems other than not being able to send/receive picture msgs...ive spent countless hours on the phone with many different verizon "technicians", and none of them have any clue what to do about it???? any ideas!?

I am not sure why you had them block access. Just don't use it and you will not be billed. If you are worried about someone else using your treo get a program that will password your phone.

You may be able to just change your settings that allow you to connect to block access yourself.

well they acted like it would be ridiculously expensive if u didnt buy the package....what about getting pix msgs, is it expensive? how do u make sure it doesnt connect, a friend told me that his checked his email a lot without him knowing it and it cost him a fortune

You have to set up an e-mail account settings to get or send e-mail. SMS is something you need to check with verizon. Sprint charges $8.00 for unlimited if your plan does not have them included in the rate.

Whatever you were paying for with verizon is probably all you need now.

Treo or any phone basic plan with minutes

Treo or any phone SMS can be included or added to plan (optional)

treo or enabled phone internet access can be added or included (optional also)

A lot of people use their treos as a phone and load stuff via their computer/internet and don't have data plans. Verizon sounds like a scam to me.

There is a verizon forum here if you scroll down. Maybe your info is there, but I am pretty sure there are verizon users on the 650 forum.
