Help!- suddenly by 650 won't connect to email

i have had this 650 for two years. This afternoon it started NOT connecting to email.

My server is fine and home email is fine. I didn't change any settings

I've had this phone for nearly two years and I dearly love it.

I've done a soft and warm reset-- no help

any suggestions will be gratefully accepted. This is so bizarre.

Well, there is a great chance the security protocol has changed on the device or the server. Ben

same thing happened to me on my treo. I have sprint . I called them and under prefs, network on the top of the page it was set for sprint provisioning instead of pcs vision. The rep said sometimes your mail can get hung up or if you go to network to network. I changed it and it works fine now.

PS I also could not connect to the web when this happened to me.

That happened once on my 600 - a change I knew I did not make; however, up reflection, I remembered looking at the setting the evening before...If this setting has not been changed, then a protocol change somewhere along the line needs to be investigated. Ben
