Default Home NEtwork + BlueTooth = no minutes?

I am new to this whole setup.
I just got my 650 set up tonight, and saw a feature while setting up the BlueTooth that said that my phone (or bluetooth device) could connect into my network and use my internet connection. Would this in effect REPLACE my time spent logged onto Cingular's MEdia Net? and cut my costs while i use it say.. on the couch at home?
    Fangs!

Do you have an unlocked treo 650?

Either way this would not replace you time spent using Media Works. It will still use your phone's data connection to establish an internet connection to your pc. Does that make sense?

hmm makes no sense to me.

What i get billed for extra is the service time i take up on the "cingular" network.. they are supplying me with internet access that i pay for

my blue tooth says i can let my cell phone use my HOME NETWORK's internet connection (via BellSouth) to acess the internet.

whether that uses something on my phone or somethign else on my phone shouldnt matter.. what should matter is that I'm not using anything "cingular" to acess the internet. and i shouldnt pay for it while i do it... at home.. through my home network

does anyone know how to set this up
