hot synch problem
Hi,
Earlier today my Treo 650 froze and I needed to do a soft reset. Now everytime I Hot Sync it does a soft reset automatically. Earlier tonight I had downloaded a Weight Watcher program that is supposed to synchronize with the my personal info on the WW webpage. I was able to download the program which was called WW Setup. The program on my Palm prompted me to enter my user name and password and then to Hot Synch my Palm with my PC, which was online at the time. This Hot Synch was unsuccessful. Do I have to do something special to have my info synch with a web page as opposed to my Outlook account? Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Stacey

The conduit should handle this. It sounds similar to when I was using Avantgo. Based upon my "channels", it would download content via the web and then to my Treo. I'd just limit the amount of programs that are connecting to the web, so this way your connection is free -- and see if that works.

Thanks Chris...do you mean that I should only have open the the particular web page that I want to "connect" to? Any ideas why my treo does a soft reset after hot synching...not sure who i should call about this technical problem.
Thanks again!

Usually the conduit will actually connect. It's been a while since I use Avantgo, but if I remember correctly, I would see the conduit accessing the web (downloading content). Have you tried shooting a quick email to WW?

I don't mean to sound stupid but what is a conduit?

The conduit is software that allows the HotSync to transfer info back and forth between your desktop and your Treo. If you did a search on your computer for Conduits, you would find a folder with various conduits for your Calendar etc.
