GlimmerMail
GlimmerMail is the only Native Palm mail client that provides a direct wireless connection to your Hotmail and MSN email accounts. GlimmerMail allows you to access your Hotmail and MSN messages when you really need them! No longer will you need to use the slow and crippled mobile Hotmail/MSN website. With GlimmerMail, just press the Get button and all of your new messages are downloaded right to your Palm.
You can do more than just read your messages! GlimmerMail enables you to synchronize your Palm with your Hotmail/MSN account. If you delete or mark a message read on the website, the next time you use GlimmerMail, the changes can be synchronized to your Palm. In addition, GlimmerMail has full support for folder management. When you add/delete/rename a folder on your Palm, the change is reflected in your account. When you move a message on your Palm, it will be moved on the server as well.
If you don't want to check your messages through the Hotmail/MSN websites anymore, GlimmerMail is the perfect solution for you. And if your looking to leave hotmail entirely, and wondering about what most people use to manage mail from their Treo, you might want to read this article in the knowledgebase

Which email provider woud be best? I'm an Agendus user and have the latest mail app but have not used it yest. This is my first Treo, two days old, been a palm user for several years but never used my PDA for email. Don't know much about different email providers, I have some friends that use AOL, Yahoo and Netscape. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Well, I can only speak personally. And personnally, I think AOL is terrible, though in all fairness I haven't used it in like 5 years . . . I have heard good things about Yahoo's paid service. Don't really know anything about netscape's service. Several here seem to like gmail. I have an account with them and like it OK. . .
I lease a couple of virtual servers and have access to my own mail domains so I am not all that familiar with mainstream email apps. Come on AOL users! Come to AOL's Rescue! Tell me its great now . . .

I use two IMAP providers running with ChatterEmail. Push email is important in my situation, the company I work for relies upon it very heavily. There are a few out there - I use Fastmail and ChatterEmail thru Everyone.net.
Gmail is not standard with anything. I no longer use it. I use Yahoo for pop and it works good.
As for my Treo based mail application, I have licenses for both SnapperMail and ChatterEmail and use ChatterEmail exclusively.
