HotSync...again and again

I recently received a warranty replacement for my 650 from Sprint. All the new phone wants to do is repeatedly synchronize itself with HotSync. I can't get it to stop. I have performed every reset option available and it continues. Has anyone else had this problem and/or found a solution?

I'd suggest that you return that phone. When I first got my Treo it was a replacement for a Hitachi G1000 and that first phone wouldn't charge. I called and complained and I was sent out a brand new Treo 650!

This is Kevin from Palm. The only cause for this of which I'm aware is a possible conflict between QuickInstall and third-party installers. May or may not be the reason in your case, but the Palm Knowledge Library article "HotSync loops continuously after an application has been added via QuickInstall, AddIt or other methods" may be worth a look.
