You're deleting from the Applications app (Home button, then Menu button, App, Delete)? It should prompt you to delete related files and prefs. Anyway, Destaller Lite should do what you need for right now. After that, you can upgrade to the Pro version if you like it. I use RemoveIt, which is made by BlueNomad, the same company that makes BackupBuddy.
