How to get the percent symbol in text messages ???

Hi, This maybe something thats just eluding me, but how do i type in the % symbol into sms or memo messages etc. I just dont seem to see a % button for text entry. Thanks.

Alt and the 1 key for a pull down menu

Hi, I tried it. Doesnt work. Only the alphabet e appears. Because its the e or 1 button. Mine is a treo 650 gsm unlocked version. Any further ideas ?

Hi, I found it myself. So ignore the question. Its first e and then alt. Thats why there was no drop down. But anyway that drop down doesnt have the % symbol. Its / and then alt button.

Opps! I just checked how to do it on the 755p not the 650...sorry. My 650 is making someone happy on the west coast now so I could not test the keys.
