Default How to lock Treo 650 quickly....

Hi, is there a shortcut to lockdown the Treo ?

Just like to activate keyguard we press option + power button.

I found that i can lockdown only by going into the security application or via a condition such as time based lockdown or lock always when powered off.

What if i dont want both of these but instead want to just lockdown in certain special situations and doing it via the security application is a little cumbersome.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is a shortcut to lock it down but someone might have a different opinion.

Default How to quickly lock Treo 650

Hi all, there is no quick way to one button lock the Treo 650, but I have found a button re-assign that helps a lot. Press the home key (near the green call button) scroll down to preferences, in preferences locate buttons, at the very bottom is a way to set the side button (or any other button you don't use, I personally use all the other buttons) and select 'security'. With that set you can press (and hold) the side button and it opens the security app (where 'Lock & Turn Off...) button is, now just press the Lock & Turn Off... and it is locked :laugh3:

I can have the phone locked quickly using that method.

    Hope it helps you out!

    Have a terrific day!
