How Unlock Treo

I have a treo 650 and contract with cingular the phone is locked and I travel international sometimes would like to purchase local sim card, how do I go about unlocking the phone?

I have a Cingular branded 650 also. I haven't tested it, but have read on this forum and others, that you can call Cingular and tell them, you travel international and need to unlock the phone. They will provide you with the code and instructions . .

Let me know how it turns out, as I have been thinking about obtaining a code to unlock mine . .

I have a (2 Month old) Cingular Treo 650, and do travel to the Philippines regularly. I called Cingular, told them I was needing my phone unlocked in order to use local SIM cards, and within 4 days, I had an email with the instructions to perform a Subsidy Treo Unlock.

Worked as expected!
