| That's exactly what I'm using. I bought the unlocked GSM Treo 650 from the Palm.com, popped my T-Mobile SIM into the phone, and I'm up and running. T-Mobile doesn't officially support the Treo 650 but that doesn't matter at all. The only downside is that updates like firmware have to come from Palm, not your carrier. Generally the carriers get the new firmware updates out a week or two before Palm. Not such a big deal, especially if your Treo is working just fine and you aren't waiting for an update to solve a critical issue like stability, or a missing feature. |

| Wow, I always liked Sprint, I had a few minor customer service issues but those were quickly resolved by management. On the other hand I had horrible service with T-Mobile and I kicked them to the curb several years ago. But before you jump ship let me remind you that Sprint's data plans are WAY cheaper than any other carrier (as far as I know). |

The rates with Sprint are better. Sometimes you half to give up good customer service for the better rate plans.
You know, like with Cingular. Oh wait, actually, its bad customer service with bad plans.

| I agree with Gene. I was with T-Mobile a few years back, and man did they ever suck. Sprint isn't perfect, but they're way better than T-Mobile. And things have only improved with them since they've absorbed Nextel. I just wish they didn't renew my contract every time I decide to change plans... |

| Actually, my problems with T-Mobile started about 8 years ago when I lived in Germany. T-Mobile is owned by "Deutsche Telecom" (German telephone company). These guys run a telephone monopoly in Germany and control 90% of all phone lines, cell lines, and ISP service. I used to pay 40 bucks a month for unlimited dial up access (yeah dial up access) to these same yahoos because there were no other options. So one of the reasons I dropped T-Mobile is because I found out who really owned the company. |

| I hate to sound like a recording, but I aggree with everyone else. Sprint is by far not a rip off. I don't think that there is another carrier that you can get unlimited data for $10\mo. Thier plans are not over priced. No one else has unlimited incoming and with the fair & flexible plan, $5 for 100 minutes = $0.05\min when you go over. Every other carrier is $0.40\min when you go over. You may have other issues like customer service, tech support, or reception issues, but getting ripped off is not the right term to use when talking to Sprint. |

| Yes its a rip off i should know. The problem i am having is that this fair and flexible con game they have is actually a rip off. let me explain. I have fair and flexible for families plan 800 minutes at 79 dollars per month. Yes after the 800 minutes its 5 dollars for every 100 minutes and so on. What they dont tell you though is the fact that its a numbers game similar to the 3 card monte game in nyc. How do you explain that i have only 2 lines and i have a bill of 180 dollars each and every month..After adding insurance and taxes i come out with 100 dollars per month. I rarely go over say 1000 minutes per month. When i call to find out why my bill is this high i cant seem to get anyone who speaks english its always someone with a heavy accent i venture to guess india or south america? Now the sprint data plan is very awsome its cheap and i use the treo as a dial up modem. I got my wife a t-mobile razr and she gets 1500 anytime minutes unlimited nights weekends for 39 dollars per month. The internet would be 7.99 -20 dollars per month more. lets say i get a similar plan on a treo 650 unlocked gsm. I would have 3000 total minutes for both lines. and pay less than 120 per month. I would get more minutes and save 60 dollars to boot. Take a closer look at the sprint fair and flexible plan its a clevery disgusied plan to make money. Why is it that everytime i try to switch to a regional plan with more included minutes the customer service rep talks me out of it... |

| Are you saying you never get detailed billing explaining your charges? Have you tried the detailed billing on their website? I can see charges by line, calls by line, whatever. Every penny of my bill is laid out in the detailed invoicing. I've only gone over my minutes twice and I love the F&F plan only charging me an extra $5 or $10. I used to have Verizon and that was truly out of control.

| Not all plans are for everybody. A looked at the fair and flexable plans because they look pretty cheap until you add on vison for all the phones.
My plan is so old vison is included freee.....four phones |
