I press on button but sometimes nothing happens

Guys on my 650 I notice sometimes when I press the on button even though the phone is on, but the screen wouldn't come back on, sometimes I have to press it a couple of times or I have to remove the battery and then it's back. Anyone have this happening? did you fix it and if so how.

that was happening to me, then i uninstalled Versamail and it quit.

Sometimes on my treo you have to hold the on button for a few seconds to get the device to come on. This seems to be the case if you use the keyboard lock. If I remember I had put some more software on it and it was slower.

I did a soft reboot and that did seem to help it.

I don't use the keyboard lock. I was trying to delete my versamail but I don't see it as an option to delete. how did you do it.

It is often due to a background application playing with an alarm or doing something in the background. Ben

on my verizon 650 versamail isn't built into ROM. i forgot that on some carriers it is.
